Each day you will be given task to complete, in order to advance to a new day (Tuesday would be next). In the guest house is where Barbie will change her clothes and also go to sleep. There are several little mini games, like catch the firefly, round up the puppies and kittens, match game, trace the stars and a few more. Here you will meet up with your friends Theresa and Nikki. Each day, you will unlock a mini game in the guest house. You can go to the riding area, or to the barn, to the camp houses and the main manor, plus you can go on walks through the Forest and Beaches. You'll be instructed either by people or arrows, on where to go. At the beginning of the week, you will be introduced to several people around the riding camp. You start off the game in a week mode, on Monday. The instructions are told to you in actual voices, so there is no reading involved (except for one part, the journal area). Barbie will talk to several people throughout the game. The person playing the game is the character Barbie. We still have not completed the game, but as of where we are now I can tell you somewhat about the game. In Barbie Riding Camp, there are a lot of great activties to do. My daughter received her DS system when she was 4 and now that she is almost 5 years old, we have a pretty good collection of games for non readers. I'm always looking for games that are easy for non reader children.
